Cycling2Tibet

Hey All,

It's been a while since I left the USA and went back to NL. Now, over 2 years later, I'm going to Asia. To be completely accurate, I'm cycling to Tibet, China. We've (we= me, my brother, my gf and a good friend of us, Martijn) been planning this even when I was still in Albany, NY, and now we're finally preparing to leave. Tomorrow is the first stage, a simple one from Veenendaal to Eindhoven. But in a week, there won't be any turning back. We will be on our way to complete roughly 12000 kilometers to Lhasa.

Needless to say, I'm excited. It's an adventure that will leave a mark, and an adventure as big as they get. Almost, at least. Because there's four of us, we will be keeping everyone up to date through one website, which isn't this one. On www.cycling2tibet.org there will be a blog which we will try to update weekly, so long as we have internet at least. There is also an option available to subscribe to a mailinglist, much like this website has. So, if you wish to read about our adventures and discoveries, visit the aforementioned website and subscribe.

I hope to see you sometime soon. Most likely when I get back in roughly 6 months.
